In December 2012 he started the PhD School in Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (Supervisors: Flavio Manenti and Sauro Pierucci) at Politecnico di Milano, addressing the modeling and simulation of food matrices undergoing thermal treatment, with the aim of coupling heat and mass transfer to chemical reactions in food.
In 2012 he graduated in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano with the thesis “Multi-scale Approach for Sulfur Recovery Units modeling (Approccio Multiscala per la modellazione di Unita’ di Recupero Zolfo)”.
