Prof. Alessandro Di Pretoro

Alessandro Di Pretoro was born in 1992 in Pescara (PE), Italy. He earned a MSc degree cum laude in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in July 2017 with the graduation thesis entitled “Dynamic simulation and plantwide control of an ABE/W separation plant” supervised by Prof.s Giulia Bozzano and Flavio Manenti. In September 2020 he defended his joint (Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse and Politecnico di Milano) PhD research work entitled “Optimal Design of Flexible, Operable and Sustainable Processes under Uncertainty: Biorefinery Applications”.

He is now Associate Professor at the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse.
